In every sector we invest in, we recognize the value of people and the environment, and have adopted sustainability as a principle. Under the SAM Group, we set out with the CSR PLASTIC brand, aiming to be a leader and effective in the recycling sector. Why recycling? Today, plastic, one of the most intensively used materials in every field, takes between 400 and 1,000 years to decompose in nature if not recycled. Considering both the damage to the environment and the cost of obtaining products from original raw materials, we believe recycling is a necessity for everyone. After completing the investment in the facility and the licensing studies, as of 2021, we are conducting non-hazardous waste collection and recycling activities in our facility located in Erenler/Sakarya, covering an area of 30,000 m2.
